These Are Their Stories
Three souls. 31 hours. One impossible decision I shouldn't have to make alone.
⏰ 31 Hours Left
Charlie is a 7-year-old Golden Retriever found collapsed on a rural highway. He has a tumor the size of a softball. Charlie sits in his kennel with his head down.
⏰ 31 Hours Left
Daisy is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix. Both back legs are broken. She still has hope, but without surgery, she'll be euthanized Friday.
⏰ 31 Hours Left
Oliver is 12 years old. Surrendered because of diabetes. He doesn't need surgery—he needs insulin and someone to fight for him.

What do I receive with my sponsorship?
You receive a Digital Sponsorship Certificate. This is your official confirmation of support for Ploffy’s emergency cases. You can download it immediately after checkout as a token of the life you helped save.
How does my support help Charlie, Daisy, and Oliver?
Your contribution directly funds the Emergency Medical Fund. This specifically covers Charlie’s tumor removal, Daisy’s orthopedic leg reconstruction, and Oliver’s specialized senior care. It also covers the 24/7 monitoring and medications required for their recovery.
Are you a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit?
We prioritize life over paperwork. Ploffy is an independent rescue collective. Traditional 501(c)(3) status requires thousands of dollars in legal fees and months of administrative waiting—resources we simply cannot spare when a dog has a survival window.
By remaining independent, we ensure 100% of your sponsorship goes directly to the veterinary clinic, not to government filings or corporate overhead. You aren't getting a tax write-off; you are getting the direct, verified result of a life saved.
How do I know my money is actually going to the dogs?
We believe in radical transparency. Unlike large organizations where funds often get lost in "administrative costs," we post actual vet receipts and surgical updates on our social channels. When you sponsor a dog through Ploffy, you are paying a specific medical bill that we share with our community.
Why is the total rescue goal $7,680?
This covers Charlie’s tumor removal ($2,200), Daisy’s orthopedic leg reconstruction ($3,800), and Oliver’s full year of specialized senior care ($1,680). Emergency veterinary care for dogs requires specialists, anesthesia, and intensive post-operative therapy.
What happens if the deadline is reached?
The 72-hour window is a strict deadline set by the clinic due to the urgency of Charlie and Daisy's conditions. Our goal is to have the full funding secured immediately so we can greenlight all surgeries. If we do not hit the goal, we must prioritize the cases with the highest chance of immediate survival.
Why don't these dogs just go to a local shelter?
Most local shelters are over-capacity. When a dog arrives with a multi-thousand dollar surgical need, municipal shelters are often forced to choose medical euthanasia. Ploffy catches the "un-savable" cases that the system turns away.
Will I get updates on their recovery?
Yes. We send regular email updates featuring photos and progress reports—from their first steps post-surgery to the day they are healthy enough for adoption. We believe sponsors deserve to see the impact of their kindness.
What if you raise more than the $7,680 goal?
Additional proceeds will be applied to the next urgent rescue case on our "red-list." We always have dogs requiring immediate intervention waiting for their chance at a second life.
Is this a one-time payment or a subscription?
The choice is yours. By default, this is a one-time sponsorship. However, you can select the Monthly Guardian option during checkout for ongoing support. You can cancel at any time.
